Making a resin & metal powder cast
I created a mythical Gryphon for the Somerset Golf Union, it is there logo so i set about carving it in polyester resin filler which carve very precise and you get very crisp edges, once carved I made a silicone mould and cast 50/50 polyester resin to brass metal filler (powder) and once buffed come out like real brass, well 50% is real brass.

The cast looks dull straight out of the mould but once buffed shines like soild brass
Gryphon made in brass powder and resin once buffed and polished comes up like real brass, the brass fillers are real brass ground down to a fine powder.
